Mobile Swallow Studies/ FEES in Buffalo, NY

At SPS of WNY, we understand that not everybody can physically come into our office for swallow studies to be conducted. In order to provide greater support of swallowing studies around Buffalo and Western New York, we offer mobile swallow studies that can be performed for patients in skilled nursing, assisted living and home health settings. 

How Do Mobile Swallow Studies Work?

We are bringing the same top-notch studies that are provided in office to your patients’ bedside. This provides more thorough and cost-effective solutions for onsite swallow studies. SPS of WNY maintains close communication with the treating SLP when completing swallow studies for their patients, acting as an ongoing consultant at no additional charge.

 

The endoscopist will provide the treating SLP with a full detailed report of the study with photos, and treatment recommendations for individualized exercises to rehabilitate the swallow.
